The bulk aisle at Rosauers is 25% off this weekend
We don't usually do sales posts around here. But when the only grocery store in town marks down its entire bulk foods department for three days, that's news.
Here's the deal: Thursday through Saturday, October 15 to 17, Huckleberry's Natural Market is taking 25% off its entire bulk foods department. That includes the Huckleberry's section inside our Rosauers in Ridgefield. Not a few select bins. All of it.
Grains, granola, nuts, chocolate, candy, snacks, spices, coffee, flour, sugar, dried fruit, rice, herbs, tea, seeds. The flyer ends the list with "and seriously... so much more," and for once a flyer isn't exaggerating.
A confession from your resident Jersey transplant: back east, growing up, we called the bulk section the "free candy aisle." Nobody I knew actually helped themselves (allegedly), and the Huckleberry's version is far more organic trail mix than gummy worms. But the name stuck in my brain forever, and every time I walk past those bins I hear it. This weekend, at least, the aisle comes a little closer to living up to it, legally.
The Sale at a Glance
Why it's worth the trip
Until Grocery Outlet opens, Rosauers is the grocery store in town. That means most of us are in there several times a week anyway, and a sale on stuff we were going to buy regardless is the best kind of sale.
The timing is also suspiciously good. Thanksgiving is about six weeks out, holiday baking season is right behind it, and flour, sugar, chocolate, and nuts are all on the list. If you've been meaning to restock the pantry before the November chaos, this is your window.
Quick questions
Does this apply at the Ridgefield Rosauers?
Yes. Ridgefield is on the list of participating Huckleberry's locations inside Rosauers stores.
Can I stack it with other discounts?
No. Per the flyer, no additional discounts apply.
What if they're out of what I want?
Out of luck, unfortunately. There are no rain checks, and stock varies by store, so earlier in the sale is your best bet.
