Carts By The Park — The Food Truck Hub
This food truck pod is the go-to destination in the heart of downtown Ridgefield. Think of it as Ridgefield’s rotating street-food festival: multiple trucks parked together, casual seating, and a built-in food-lovers’ community atmosphere. Carts By The Park often features a mix of local vendors offering everything from tacos to sushi to BBQ — and that mix changes… and so does the location of the trucks!
Depending upon the time of year, month, maybe day or even time of day – the trucks move. Think of the Carts by the Park location to be the central hub and then look outward my friends, because you will find food trucks just a few feet away at brick and mortars like The Neighborhood Refuge or outside Ridgefield Craft Brewing.
General Hours:
Open most days (including weekends) from approximately 11 AM–7 PM.
Seating: Casual outdoor seating at the pod makes it great for grabbing a bite with friends, a beer, or lunch with your dog.
Shawarma Refuge — Middle Eastern Magic
A local crowd-pleaser with fantastic reviews for authentic shawarma, falafel, hummus, and Mediterranean plates.
It’s one of the highest-rated food trucks in Ridgefield, known for bold, flavorful food and friendly service.

Nest — Comfort Food & Sandwiches
Nest has become synonymous with comfy, satisfying eats — think gourmet sandwiches, burgers, and local comfort classics. It’s a standout in the Carts By The Park area, with great reviews across the board.

Location: During the wintertime, The Nest parks itself outside Ridgefield Craft Brewing, but generally moves on back to the CBTP when springtime hits.
Sushi Kato – Ridgefield WA — Sushi on Wheels
A fun twist on street food, Sushi Kato brings fresh sushi rolls and poke bowls to Ridgefield’s downtown scene. A hit with locals who want something lighter or globally inspired from a food truck setup.
Hours: Typically 11 AM–7 PM during the food truck pod hours.
Soi Thai Asian
If you are in the mood to sit outside, take in the sun and enjoy some Pad Thai or if you are a bit of a rebel – some Pineapple Fried Rice (and really, who isn’t?) Soi Thai is it! A newer addition to Carts in The Park Soi Thai is Soi Delicious (obligatory Dad joke)
Hours: Usually Thurs through Sun 11 AM–7 PM (check socials or site to confirm).
Botanas – Snack Bar
Have you heard of a Dubai Cup? Are you in the mood for some Strawberries & Cream Smoothie? Or… how about tamales that have their own fan club!
Botana is a unique and adorable spot that anchors the Carts in the Park and offers the most refreshing and delicious drinks and snacks. And tamales, they are in high demand year round.
Hours: Usually 11 AM–9 PM (check socials or site to confirm).
La Catrina – Mexican
Chips and salsa with some guacamole – who doesn’t love that!
La Catrina hits that spot and has everything for everyone. Churros, Breakfast bowls, Quesadillas, Vegan options – they have it all.
Hours: Usually 11 AM–7 PM (check socials or site to confirm).
Tips for Visiting Ridgefield Food Trucks
Hours vary by vendor & day — most trucks cluster downtown during lunch and early dinner hours (often around 11 AM–7 PM), but some only show up on weekends or specific days. Social media is your friend here.
Seating: Outdoor seating at Carts By The Park and nearby picnic spots around the downtown areas makes it easy to graze, sip, chat, and enjoy the vibe. Covered spots help in rainy weather.
Pop-ups happen: Sometimes there are lunchtime or weekend-only trucks not listed here, so keep an eye on Instagram or community pages for spontaneous food truck events.
Variety means debate: One person’s “best” could be another’s lunch-go-to. That’s the joy of Ridgefield’s food truck scene — it’s diverse, delicious, and open to opinion.
