Where to Work Out in Ridgefield
Ridgefield may be a small town, but the fitness scene here is genuinely impressive. From a brand-new barre studio soft-launching this weekend to a CrossFit box with programs for every age — here's your guide to every place you can break a sweat without leaving city limits.

One of the things I love about living here is that you don't have to drive to Vancouver or Portland to find a real workout. Whether you're into hot yoga, heavy lifting, or you've always wanted to try barre but weren't sure where to start — Ridgefield has something for you. Here's a rundown of every studio and gym we know of in town, with a quick sense of what each one is about.
Pure Barre Ridgefield Opening Now
Barre Studio · 536 S Royale, Ste. 7The newest arrival to Ridgefield's fitness scene — and a genuinely exciting one. Pure Barre is inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates and delivers a low-impact, high-intensity full-body workout. Their soft launch is happening this weekend, and they're running a Founders offer ($149 for unlimited classes for life) while it lasts. There are four class formats to choose from: Classic is their signature 50-minute total-body method; Align adds a flexibility and balance focus; Empower kicks up the intensity with HIIT intervals and ankle weights; and Define layers in dumbbell-based strength training. First class is free.

CrossFit & Functional Fitness · 7509 S 5th St, Ste. 121Tucked just off I-5 in a light industrial space, ERCF has built a real community in Ridgefield — the kind where people show up for each other and celebrate every PR, big or small. Led by Level 1 and Level 2 CrossFit coaches, their programs cover a lot of ground: classic CrossFit, an Endurance class (running, cycling, rowing), Olympic Weightlifting, and an Everyday Fit Bootcamp for anyone who wants the intensity without the barbells. There's also LIFE Fit–Legends 55+, a "gentle CrossFit" style class designed for older adults focused on mobility and quality of life — a standout offering. CrossFit Kids runs in summer. First class is free, and they have an unsupervised kids area for parents who need it.

Hot Yoga Studio · 4403 S. Settler Dr, Suite 110Ridgefield's first hot yoga studio, and it's a beautiful one — reviewers mention stunning views, lovely showers, and owners Holley and Chris who clearly put a lot of care into every detail. What sets it apart is the infrared heating system: unlike traditional forced-air heat, the infrared panels create a deep, radiant warmth (similar to natural sunlight) that reaches into muscles and joints, is hypoallergenic, and doesn't blow dust or allergens around the room. Classes are 60 and 90 minutes, suitable for all levels and all ages. A new student intro offer of 6 classes for $60 is a great way to try it. Annual memberships available for committed practitioners.

Boutique Group Fitness · 208 Pioneer St, Studio B (above the Hardware Store)A Ridgefield original — run by Barb Laudadio, a longtime local resident, mother of five, and fitness instructor with over 25 years of experience. The studio is upstairs in one of Ridgefield's oldest downtown buildings, which gives it a warm, intimate feel that's hard to replicate in a bigger gym. Small class sizes mean Barb can actually watch your form and offer modifications — not something you get at most gyms. Weekly offerings include Circuit Training, Strength (functional dumbbell work), Yoga, Mat Pilates, Barre, and Zumba. Class packages start at $45/month for 4 classes, and unlimited classes run $155/month. A genuinely community-rooted studio.
